Since 1969:
Whew....life has rushed by!  Worked for awhile in the Union Planters Bank Main Office.  Went to college at the Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR and graduated in 1975.  Due to my ROTC scholarship, went on active duty in the U.S. Army as a Field Artillery Officer in the XVIII Airborne Corps Artillery at Fort Bragg, NC.  Left active duty in 1979 to attend seminary at Mid-America Baptist Seminary in Memphis from 1979-1983.  Returned to active duty in 1983 as a Chaplain serving until 2000.  I did 2 tours in the 101st Airborne Division (AASLT); a tour in the Berlin Brigade, Berlin, Germany; a tour in the 2nd Infantry Divison, Republic of Korea; and a tour as the Chief of Leadership and Ethics, Combined Arms Department, Fort Benjamin Harrison, IN.  I retired in 2000 as a Lieutenant Colonel.  Along the way, I managed to spend a lot of time in school.  I have a Master of Divinity (Mid-America Baptist Seminary in Memphis), a Master of Theology (Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY) and a Doctor of Ministry (Erskine Seminary in Due West, SC).

From 2000-2007, I was the Pastor of the First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church in Augusta, GA.  I returned to the Memphis area in late 2007.  Since August 2008, I have been the Pastor of the Bethel Presbyterian Church (PCUSA), in Olive Branch, MS.

I married a wonderful woman, Terry, in March 2009.  She's a Surgical Nurse at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis.  We live in the country in Byhalia, MS with 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 horses, numerous fish, and one finch.  Life IS good!
